An Introduction to Marcus Bentley-Graef - Dealer Compliance and Sales

Marcus has gained a wealth of experience in the finance and warranty industry. He started his finance career back in the 1980’s with North West Securities, where he was involved in their direct sales division, selling their personal loan and insurance products to their existing customers. This business also included what was then AA Financial Services, offering NWS’s products at preferential rates to all AA members.

From there he moved to Wagon Finance, where the emphasis moved from selling direct to the public to setting up and administering finance packages for dealers in the Motor trade. This covered everything from basic finance packages for single site used car dealers, to more complex packages for multi site nation wide dealer groups. He then progressed to selling the same finance, warranty and insurance products but for the dealers themselves. He spent over 5 years working for Renault UK as a Sales Manager. Being a Sales Manager certainly shows you the importance of the finance, warranty and insurance products not only from a profit point of view, but also in terms of customer care, customer retention and offering a complete package to make their car ownership as trouble free possible. As we all know (although we don’t like to discuss or admit it to our customers!), mechanical items DO go wrong – and it is generally at the most inopportune time!

Having now come into the mobility product market joining the First Senior Group, he can see that these basic principles of providing a complete ‘peace of mind’ package are even more vital as our customers are often elderly, vulnerable, disabled (or all of the above!) and look to us for honest, trustworthy advice regarding their needs and the solutions available to them.

Marcus has joined First Senior to increase their Appointed Representatives and to ensure their full compliance. At the same time I am making dealers aware of the products that First Senior offer, such as non repurchase personal loans, Hire Purchase, insurance, extended warranties and emergency home recovery.
