What we do

We sell specialist insurance, extended warranties and roadside assistance policies designed to meet the needs of people who use mobility scooters, power chairs and disability equipment for the home. We fund all our finance agreements and we take great care to ensure that we are a responsible lender, speaking to each applicant by phone to ensure they are fit to contract and can afford their repayments.

We also partner with mobility and disability equipment dealers and suppliers throughout the UK to enable them to offer easy access to good quality finance, insurance, roadside assistance and extended warranties.

Insurance cover is available for mobility scooters, powerchairs, manual wheelchairs and disability equipment, including accidental damage, theft and public liability up to £3 million. Specialist finance allows customers to spread the cost of mobility equipment with no upper age limit and fixed monthly repayments. First Senior also offers cruise and senior travel insurance with no upper age limit for single trips up to 93 days, along with mobility roadside recovery and extended warranty.
