We would be delighted to help you renew your policy. Please call our expert renewals team at our UK head office and they will be able to help you make sure you’ve got the right policy for your needs.
Your cover is explained on your policy documents. If you can’t find them, please call us on 01582 840067 and we’ll be happy to help.
Where we have your email address, these would have been emailed to you in return. Please check your spam or junk mail. If you have not supplied an email, these will be posted out to you which you should receive within 10-14 days. If you have not received them after this time then please give us a call on 01582 840067.
Either phone our delegated claims office on 01592 204030, or your local authorised repairer where you will be talked through the process.

We will deal with all of this directly with your Dealer or if you wish to settle the bill direct, we will reimburse you, assuming your policy covers the repairs are within the policy limits.
Where you have a policy that covers loan vehicles and where the dealer has a machine available then yes. You have cover for £15 per day, excluding the first 5 days and for up to a maximum of 10 days.
Mobility scooter insurance and power chair insurance is not required by law because these machines are not subject to the Road Traffic Act. However, it is highly recommended by the Department of Transport to cover you against any loss or liability. For example, if you damage another vehicle or injure someone while using your scooter, without insurance you would have to pay for the damage to be repaired, or pay compensation to the person you have injured, out of your own pocket.
On new machines our Mechanical / Electrical breakdown cover starts once the manufacturer’s warranty expires.
On non-new or second-hand machines, the cover is effective 45 days after the inception date of the policy.
We would recommend this for your personal peace of mind. Otherwise – what will you do if your vehicle breaks down while you are out and about? Could you get yourself and your vehicle home?
Yes, for up to 45 days in any policy year, excluding North America. You do not have to advise us in advance.
